72-Volt Mars Lithium Batteries Now In Stock! We just got our first batch of high-output 8kw, 72-Volt Lithium batteries. We spent 8 months developing this battery directly with the manufacturer. This is the perfect replacement upgrade for the lead acid batteries that come with the car.
This new 72-Volt / 105 Ah pack is only 147 LBS. The stock batteries are 110 Lbs each, (660 Lbs). So, it drops 500 Lbs and increases the performance immensely with higher torque and much better hill climbing. It will also increase the range from 25 to 30 miles to 50 or 60 miles per charge. The battery should last 10 to 12 years and it has a 5 year replacement warranty. The install takes about 3 hrs.
